Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute (ASLI) is seeking a Director to drive ASLI’s strategic growth, partnerships, and business development initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Training and Development (T&D)
Lead and expand ASLI’s T&D team, focusing on the LEADERISE brand.
Conduct market research and training needs analysis to ensure offerings meet industry demands.
Design, develop, and curate high-impact training programs for local and global stakeholders.
Oversee curriculum development, micro-credentials, and regulatory compliance (MQA, HRD, etc.).
Manage internal and external training partners, speakers, and faculty.
Ensure effective sales, marketing, and business development of training programs.
End-to-end execution of ASLI T&D programmes – curriculum, logistics, trainers, participants, feedback, certification etc.
2. Strategic Growth, Partnerships & Business Development
Leverage the Sunway ecosystem for collaboration and business opportunities.
Develop and execute a 3 to 5 year strategic roadmap for ASLI’s T&D expansion.
Identify and establish new revenue streams, including grants, sponsorships, and partnerships.
Drive financial planning, budgeting, and sales pipeline management.
Ensure ASLI remains at the forefront of leadership training and policy influence.
Establish and manage partnerships with governments, government-linked companies (GLC), multinational corporations (MNC), and international institutions.
Expand ASLI’s influence in regional and global leadership networks.
3. General Duties
Represent ASLI in media, conferences, and high-level policy discussions.
Strengthen ASLI’s brand by driving publications, insights, and strategic communications.
Align ASLI’s initiatives with Sustainability, ESG, and SDG goals.
Ensure compliance with governance, ethics, and regulatory frameworks.
Safeguard ASLI’s intellectual property, brand, and data confidentiality.
Develop and execute risk management strategies for business continuity.
Provide support to ASLI CEO and Team.
REQUIREMENTS/ PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in strategic leadership, partnership management, business development, training & development, and revenue generation.
Deep understanding of leadership training, policy engagement, and corporate learning trends.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive impactful outcomes.
Strong public speaking, media engagement, and thought leadership capabilities.
Knowledge of digital learning technologies, AI-driven education, and innovative training methods is an added advantage.
