Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Director to drive growth in the IP solutions market. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and managing a high-impact sales team. As a key leader, you’ll work under the company's global strategies in the IP space to achieve critical business objectives. Fluency in Chinese is essential for this role, as is a strong background in telecommunications.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IP address trading and management sector, establishing strong client partnerships to support growth.
  • Leadership of Sales Team: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Promotion of IP Solutions: Advocate for the company’s IP trading, management services, and internet-related solutions to potential clients, leveraging industry knowledge and client needs.
  • Research & IP Resource Strategy: Conduct research to uncover untapped IP resources worldwide, supporting the company’s objectives within the global IP space.
  • Customer Account Management: Ensure clients receive excellent account management and support, optimizing solution delivery and identifying opportunities for expanded business.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, networking to promote IP solutions and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Sales & Marketing Activities: Execute other sales and marketing responsibilities as assigned to support overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a business development or sales management role, with experience leading a sales team.
  • Skills: Self-driven, and agile, with a strong business sense and ability to perform in a fast-paced, open work environment.
  • Growth Orientation: Commitment to professional growth and a willingness to evolve with the company.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Chinese (required).
  • Travel Requirements: Business travel is required.
