Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to join our team as a Director, Consumer and Marketing Insights. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to our clients, building strong relationships and delivering impactful insights that help them achieve their strategic goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise to craft compelling, data-driven narratives that drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues, becoming a trusted partner for marketing, sales, category teams, and beyond.
  • Understand client needs and design solutions that address both strategic and tactical objectives.
  • Deliver analytics and insights services, including tactical client training for NIQ and GFK CMI solutions such as Brand Health, Segmentation, Usage & Attitudes, Customer Experience, Shopper insights, and Qualitative research.
  • Provide flawless execution of research and analytics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identify business opportunities through regular client interactions, collaborating with the Account Development team to drive growth initiatives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client priorities and demonstrate how our solutions align with their business goals.
  • Create and deliver compelling insights, providing clear, actionable recommendations that empower clients to grow their business.
  • Serve as a confident and engaging storyteller, presenting data-driven insights in a way that resonates with diverse audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in market research, with a focus on consumer and marketing insights.
  • Strong client-centric mindset and ability to foster meaningful relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the data analytics industry, including products and solutions such as Brand Health, Segmentation, Usage & Attitudes, Customer Experience, and Shopper insights.
  • Awareness of market trends and interdependencies impacting client businesses.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to confidently interpret and analyze data.
  • Problem-solver with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Engaging presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experienced in working within an analytical environment.
  • Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
