Job Responsibilities

• Maintain company’s well survey data in Landmark software database. Ensure all well surveys are verified correct.
• Work with Subsurface and Drilling personnel to design well trajectories.
• Plan and design well plans in COMPASS software, utilizing all necessary information.
• Conduct detailed anti-collision analysis and make recommendations.
• Monitor anti-collision in real time.
• Perform daily QC of survey data received from the field.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a directional well planner.
• Experience in Landmark COMPASS or equivalent planning software.
• Survey Management Experience.
• Able to QA/QC well surveys.
• Familiar with all survey tools used in well construction.
• Ability to communicate effectively across field, office & departments with knowledge of drilling terminology.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to be on-call 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays, for extended periods of time as required.
