We are one of the seafood companies with more than 50 years of experience in the fresh & frozen seafood industry in Malaysia. Over the years, we have supplied fresh & frozen seafood products to fish markets, seafood restaurants, hotels, hypermarkets, camps, schools, and local retailers across Malaysia. Due to our ongoing growth plan, we are currently seeking an experienced Marketing & Account Assistant to be part of our business development strategy.
This is a full-time position based at the corporate office in Alor Setar, Kedah state.
Skill of Social Media
• Works closely with the manager to create engaging content for the company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.
• Manages company social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms.
• Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content.
• Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation.
• Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.
• Manages social media communications.
• Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits.
Skill of Customer Service Representative
• Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Responds promptly to customer inquiries.
• Communicates with customers through various channels.
• Acknowledges and resolves customer complaints.
• Handles queries/orders from the government sector via phone, including order placing and other relevant job coordination.
• Knows our products inside and out to answer questions.
• Processes orders, forms, applications, and requests.
• Keeps records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
• Communicates and coordinates with colleagues as necessary.
• Provides feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and provides professional customer support.
Skill of Design Via Apps
• Thinks creatively, generating new ideas, designs, and concepts.
• Coordinates with printers regarding advertisements, brochures, flyers, and other marketing collaterals.
• Brainstorms ideas and develops concepts for video production.
• Shoots photos and videos for events.
• Produces video content and copywriting from start to finish.
• Works under pressure and follows the time frame.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media/Marketing, or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Experience in social digital marketing or related job roles.
• Preferably a Junior Executive specialized in Advertising/Media Planning or equivalent.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, independent, highly organized, team player with strong communication skills, networking, idea presentation, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Responsible and possesses a high degree of integrity.
