ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Digital Account Managers work with Creative teams, PPC and SEO Specialists. They have a pivotal role to play in coordinating between the operation teams to ensure that client deliverables are delivered on time, on budget, and per the scope of work.

To be considered, candidates must currently reside and be eligible to work in Malaysia.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development, the Digital Account Manager contributes to the overall strategy and ensures it aligns with the client’s business objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Main point of contact for the client - builds trust and maintains strong relationships
  • Immerses self in clients' business: Understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment and industries; also knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like
  • Balance the expectations of both the client and agency to ensure seamless project delivery and quality
  • Effectively manage day-to-day communications and ensure all client requests are delivered in a timely and service-oriented manner
  • Develop a deep understanding of performance marketing campaign requirements to support the information needs of operations team to enable project success
  • Identifies areas of opportunity to explore ways of further supporting the clients and deepening the relationship
  • Accountable for operational success of outcomes to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Leads preparation for and participates in monthly or quarterly business review meetings as required (including new business pitches)
  • Manage internal and external digital marketing campaigns, in collaboration with the operation teams
  • Communicate elements of the brief to internal teams, and ensure understanding of the objectives and underlying strategy
  • Plan projects and supervise its execution at all stages (manage scope, support teams in preparing and delivering assets)
  • Prioritise among the production teams and handle conflicts of resources, time and budget
  • Coordinate and communicate performance reports
  • Provide tactical and strategic recommendations to client for continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar position in the digital field
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, communications, or e-Commerce or a related field is preferred.
  • MUST HAVE: Knowledge of digital marketing - Paid media (SEM, SEO, social media, etc.) and/or digital creative
  • Ensuring that the operation teams are aligned throughout the project, to meet deadlines and coordinate workflow, always driving for excellence and managing client’s expectations
  • Proven agency or client experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability in project or account management
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexible, adaptable and resilient to fast changing environments
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage conflicts
  • Good client relationship management skills
  • A team player, energetic and have a positive attitude
