Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diet Clerk to join our team. A Diet Clerk plays a crucial role in the healthcare setting by assisting with the nutritional needs of patients. Their primary responsibilities revolve around managing patient meal plans, ensuring adherence to dietary restrictions, and coordinating with medical staff to support patient recovery through proper nutrition. Diet Clerks work closely with dietitians, kitchen staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide meals that meet patients' individual dietary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in menu planning.
• Prepares diet order forms needed for diet ordering.
• Updates the diet orders and subsequently prepare the food production sheets.
• Verifies patient diets and create and print reports as necessary.
• To ensure special diet in served as ordered by doctor or dietitian.
• Answers telephone and intercom calls and reply information to kitchen staff concerning meal changes, complaints or patient discharge.
• Monitors patients’ meal are served on time.
• Monitors food plating and measure food temperature during plating to ensure food safety.
• Monitors and highlights to Food Services Manager or Dietitian on any incident observed, customers’ complaint which need an immediate action.
• Carries out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
• Reviews daily associate attendance, receives call-offs and other attendance related calls.
• Works with management to log and administer attendance related infractions.
• Assists in the coordination of scheduling with Senior Dietitian.
• Makes reservations for the events and fields of any incoming calls for the Food Services department.
• Orders office supplies.
