Designer Intern

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and driven Junior Designer Intern to join theModest Categoryteam at Zalora. As part of the design team, you will contribute to the development of innovative and stylish designs aligned with modest fashion trends. This internship offers a hands-on experience working closely with the Modest Category team, supporting the creation of digital and print assets for upcoming campaigns, collections, and events such asZALORAYA. You will gain valuable exposure to the modest fashion industry while working in a fast-paced, e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating visual assets for the Modest Category, including website banners, social media posts, newsletters, and campaign materials.
• Support the design process for modest apparel collections, including trend research, mood boards, and design concept development.
• Collaborate with the marketing and merchandising teams to ensure alignment of visuals with campaign goals and product launches.
• Contribute ideas and designs forZALORAYAand other modest fashion events, ensuring brand consistency and appeal to the target audience.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative content for onsite and offsite marketing initiatives.
• Research emerging trends in modest fashion to support the design team in concept development.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation decks, mockups, and design revisions as required by senior designers.

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Strong interest in modest fashion and familiarity with modest fashion trends.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Basic knowledge of web and print design principles.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and strong typography skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms or fashion brands is a plus but not required.
