As part of our expansion, we are seeking a Design Manager to lead our design team, improve product performance, and ensure feasibility in production.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to oversee product development, optimize product performance, and ensure alignment with customer requirements. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage product design projects from concept to final production. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in product R&D, particularly in warehouse-related product design.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Design & Development
   Summarize and apply product R&D experiences to continuously improve product performance.
   Modify and finalize product designs based on customer requirements.
   Organize new product design, prototyping, and performance testing.
   Track various product tests and make necessary design adjustments.
2. Feasibility Analysis & Production Support
   Confirm the feasibility of product production based on customer requirements and actual manufacturing conditions.
   Create technical drawings and material lists following order requirements and development workflow.
   Assist the sales department in preparing and verifying design documents, drawings, and materials.
   Follow up on sample production, document progress, and adjust design files accordingly.
3. Technical Support & Problem-Solving
   Guide the sample-making process and validate performance indicators.
   Assist quality control and sales teams in resolving technical issues and customer service challenges.
   Support the production team in overcoming design-related manufacturing difficulties.
   Review design engineers’ drawings and cost estimation documents for accuracy.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of product R&D experience.
Experience in warehouse-related product design is preferred.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using 2D and 3D design software.
Strong mechanical product development experience with knowledge of industry trends.
Familiarity with domestic and international product development trends.

Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
Detail-oriented and highly organized in managing design documentation.
Mandarin (required) for communication with technical teams and headquarters.
English (preferred) for reporting and workplace coordination.
