Design Engineer (Cooling Tower)

About The Role:

This role involves working closely with local and international teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions from conceptual design to production support in cooling tower design.

Key Responsibility:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop detailed designs for cooling tower structures and water distribution systems, ensuring quality and design accuracy.
• Use CAD software to create and produce 3D models and technical drawings of cooling towers.
• Generate bills of materials (BOM) and fabrication drawings for production use.
• Analyze reports in accordance with international codes and client specifications in relating to Cooling Towers and Industry Water Circulation Process.
• Conduct and participate in structural and detailed design to ensure structure stability and design reliability.
• Coordinate with global teams across different branches for technical alignment and updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the production and installation phases.
• Attend and support client design review meetings.
• Provide technical support and respond to supplier inquiries regarding cooling tower design.

Requirement:

• Strong interest in 3D modeling and technical design using software such as AutoCAD.
• Experience in using design and analysis tools like Advance Steel or SolidWorks is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, Malay, and English is required to liaise effectively with local and international clients.
• Ability to interpret architectural, civil, and M&E drawings.
• Willingness to travel internationally if required.
