The incumbent is responsible to assess the underlying risk profile of the company and generate quotations accurately in a timely manner.

1. Underwrite new business and renewal business for Group Customers within the company specified approval limits.
2. Provide consistent and fair assessment based on the group’s underlying risk profile with customer’s best interest in mind.
3. Ensure quotation request is performed within service standard until customer outcome is delivered.
4. Adhere to Group Business Underwriting Guidelines and standards set.
5. Communicate with actuarial, reinsurers, technical services, agents on the more complex cases.
6. Accountable for portfolio management to ensure profitability objectives are consistently met.
7. Build and maintain the quotation tools to ensure the calculation is accurate and up-to-date.
8. Support senior management in strategic planning, management deck preparation and reporting.
9. Lead and supervise team members.
10. Other ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
