Perform necessary treatments with care (e.g., scaling, filling, extraction, denture)
Able to perform RCT (anterior and posterior), fixed prosthesis (crown, bridge, veneers); minor oral surgery is preferred
Able to perform orthodontic treatment and/or implant procedures is highly preferred
Prescribe medication as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene care
Promote good oral health and preventive dental care (e.g., by scheduling regular check-ups)
Requirements:
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Degree: Graduation from a recognized dental school with a BDS degree or equivalent qualification
Full Registration with the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC): Dentists must apply for full registration with the MDC to legally practice dentistry in Malaysia
Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) Guidelines: Compliance with the regulations and guidelines set by the Malaysian Dental Council for professional conduct and practice standards
Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Dentists are required to participate in ongoing CPD activities to maintain and enhance their professional skills and knowledge.
Valid APC: Dentists are required to maintain and keep their APC valid at all times.
