Dental Surgery Assistant

Klinik Pergigian Dr Nurfazillah, a leading dental clinic in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Surgery Assistant to join our team. This full-time position is a crucial part of our dental care operations, providing essential support to our dental practitioners and ensuring the smooth running of our clinic.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting dental practitioners during patient procedures, ensuring a sterile and organised work environment
2. Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment before and after each use
3. Ensuring the dental surgery and treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene
4. Providing excellent customer service to patients, welcoming them, answering inquiries and addressing any concerns
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
6. Supporting the dental team with various administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant or in a similar healthcare role
2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and the dental team
4. Proficient in using dental equipment and familiar with dental procedures
5. Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
6. Good organisational and multitasking skills
