Dental Surgery Assistant

Responsibilities:

1. Provide support and assistance to dentists and other team members.
2. Assist patients into surgery, settle them in the chair for treatment.
3. Ensure all lab works are checked and available prior to patient arrival.
4. Provide chair-side assistance during all dental procedures.
5. Ensure that dentists are chaperoned at all times when treating a patient.
6. Maintain confidentiality of the patient’s data and medical history.
7. Provide the best customer service to patients.
8. Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested, including other clinical and administration tasks such as filling and maintenance of the clinic.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least SPM.
2. Candidate with Diploma in Nursing would be an added advantage.
3. Candidate with dental clinical experience is an added advantage.
4. Able to understand and follow instructions appropriately.
5. Pleasant personality and able to converse in English well.
6. Positive attitude and able to multi-task.
