About the role

Smile Suite Dental Clinic is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant cum admin to join our dynamic team in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur. As a vital member of our full-time dental care team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our dental practice.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dental professionals during patient examinations and procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and managing equipment.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.
• Handling various administrative tasks such as invoicing, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
• Providing exceptional customer service to patients and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.
• Participating in team meetings and collaborating with colleagues to improve clinic operations.
• Adhering to all health, safety, and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare administrative role will be prioritized in candidate selections.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and team members effectively.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using dental software, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant computer skills.
• A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting or a related healthcare field would be an advantage or at least SPM 5 credits.
