Demand Supply Planner Full Time

The new role:

Our client is an established MNC that is a strong player in the Logistics industry. In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board a Demand Supply Planner to join their team in Klang.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop statistical forecast and manage inventory planning for multi-temperature finished goods.
2. Upkeep high forecast accuracy and good inventory management practice to ensure optimum stocks keeping and consistent product supply to market.
3. Close interaction with key stakeholders to understand market intelligence, promotion mechanics and supply plans, to reflect in forecasting model and inventory plan.
4. Close monitoring of inventory supply status and provide prompt alert / communication for actions.
5. Lead and collaborate closely with suppliers, customers and internal departments on future projections, inventory strategies and planning for optimum inventory management within the system.
6. Weekly reporting and planning review with internal stakeholders to share performance, events, projections, opportunities, risks, concerns and actions for continuous inventory improvement.
7. Monthly review and reporting of slow moving and obsolete products for actions.
8. Ownership to follow through incidences and provide timely clear communication till closure.

Skills & Experience:

1. Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CIMA and have at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
2. Strong analytical & presentation skills.
3. Experience in forecasting and inventory planning.
4. Excellent communicator.
5. Customer-centric.
