Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:
Lead Demand Planning Process for Consumer Business.
This role synthesizes all inputs across sales, CSD, marketing, finance and supply chain functions.
Lead and facilitate Demand S&OP meetings each period, driving consensus and carrying out category and regional demand reviews.
Key contact person as a bridge between Demand Planning and supply planning in executing and adjusting the production plan to meet sales forecast requirement.
Produce periodic reports with team members on demand management and perform analysis on KPI and Scorecard performance.
Implement corrective action with consumer business teams in regards to significant variances to forecast.
Manage product / packaging rollovers, introductions and discontinuations in order to best meet business unit objectives.
Manage inventory and facilitate initiatives to improve on finished goods inventory (e.g., clearance of slow-moving stocks).
Lead demand optimization projects for Malaysia & Singapore.

Functional/Business skills
Experienced in S & OP, and NPI Process.
Good knowledge of statistical modeling and demand systems.
Strong capability to synthesize and filter inputs from multiple sources to narrow to most important influences which will impact future demand.
Advanced ability to identify risk & opportunity areas in Demand.
Strong collaboration skills.
Project Management Skills.
Essential Knowledge/ Experience
Minimum 3 years related experience in Supply Chain with 1 year in a supply / demand planning capacity in a Consumer Goods MNC Company.
Incumbent must possess analytical & project management skills as well as able to collaborate well with other stakeholders.
Enjoy working in a cross functional environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with a minimum Advance level in Excel.
SAP knowledge in Supply Chain-related areas is highly advantageous.
