Plan, manage and track Project milestones against RF, SOW, project charter, Goals, Scope, Delivery Approach, Delivery Plan, Activities, Risk & Deliverable in an effective manner. Able to appreciate waterfall and agile methods. Certified in PMP, ITIL, Prince2 is preferred.
Ability to independently deliver simple and semi-complex projects in an effective manner, perform reporting in different dimensions, versions, dashboards, PPT, excel, sharepoint skills, system-savvy, able to understand/comprehend structured programming workings like sequencing, repetition, selection, pivots and hierarchy as required by data processing needs. Loves number crunching work, produce excellent database mgmt. skills. This is an important key skillset.
Drive overall Project planning and tracking of project milestones to achieve the desired business outcomes as agreed with the Sponsor/Steering Committee with input from the respective Project Leads and ensure the projects run according to schedule and budget.
Plan, Manage and Track project milestones and detailed delivery plans to time, cost and quality as defined by project scope. Verification of customer agreed scope per LOA/ RF. Able to verify the solution by working with counterparts that need to be delivered based on-site survey
Lead in Identification, manage, escalation and management of key project issues and risks related to the project that project managers are handling, including seeking resolution and execute contingency/action plan to mitigate issues/risk
Develop risk management plan and mitigation plan with the project team for issues and risks, proactively manage it with proposed recommendation. Responsible in inter-dependencies management and alignments across projects. Able to generate RACI charts
Review progress against plans, reporting progress to the Steering Committee and maintaining a project management file and document register.
Collaborate with other project leads / project managers/Delivery teams/ provisioning and service management teams as well to track and manage overall E2E project timelines/activities. Work closely in troubleshooting during customer project rollouts is also a must.
Identification and management of key project dependencies including dependencies from other in-flight projects
To provide consolidated reporting across all departments to key stakeholders on a timely basis so they are aware of the overall status per format that is instructed as well as decisions required. Able to report effectively to Enterprise leaders, top management.
Escalate to Project Management Delivery Head where executive decisions are needed, with analysis and recommendation.
Create LRD for DRO Issuance, creation of memos, communicate with authorized personnel, C-levels, IT committee, Vendor management including contract management and cost.
Willing to travel to onsite when needed. Able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders, relevant authority, provide relevant information in the national language and English proficiency is a must. Able to professionally represent Maxis to relevant stakeholders and management or C-levels.
Monthly meetings – remote and physical
presentation deck preparation for working committee, steering committee and top management, internal and external stakeholders including government states and MCMC reporting.
Verification of forms from vendors and be responsible for task completion, RCA reporting
Meeting with vendors, manage their task completion and supervise the quality of delivery
Handle well on ad-hoc requests from state MCMC
Able to perform handover project effectively to Operations and ensure SAF sign off
Perform revenue billing on time and report to Segment Leads, handle system orders well
Equipment drawdown, able to read designs by Solution Architect including DDD and LLD document and advise from project aspects on gaps identified, solution change recommendation when needed. Perform User Test and obtain acceptance
Obtain customer’s Service Acceptance Form (SAF) signoff. Ability to persuade for sign-off by the customer. Ensure the delivery team is able to successfully complete Circuit provisioning and bring to service(BIS) so that the project handover to operations and service management can happen.
Requirements /Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering for Technical Project Management or any relevant discipline
A minimum of 3-7 years of working experience in an end-to-end project management capacity
Proven working experience as a project manager in Agile development projects
Solid technical background with a strong working knowledge of the GSM, Fixed technology, LTE, 5G, SD-WAN, fiber etc platforms.
Familiar with wireless telecommunications architecture is preferred
Experience with optical / DWDM /long haul fiber
Experience with routing and switching equipment from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or others
Detailed understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6
Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
Strong written skills for effective communication to senior management and various stakeholders (internal & external)
Excellent time management, planning, budgeting, and problem-solving capabilities
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
CAPM/PMP / PRINCE II certification is preferred.
