Responsibilities:

1. Formulate strategies for the growth of the Graduate School (Postgraduate).
2. Identify and develop new programs that will ensure sustainable growth of the University.
3. Work with the Graduate School to ensure adherence to accreditation standards, enhanced community engagement, and drive the University research agenda.
4. Establish collaborations and partnerships with other institutions of higher education and industry to drive research.
5. Provide internal leadership and mentorship to department staff and students.
6. Oversee the recruitment, appointment, review, and professional development of staff and the Graduate School.
7. Monitor the academic progress of students towards graduation.
8. Work cooperatively with other stakeholders and the Management to advance the mission and strategic plans of the University.

Requirements:

1. Possess a Doctoral qualification.
2. At least 8-10 years of working experience in teaching at the tertiary level and 5 years in a management capacity.
3. Demonstrate strong passion and good knowledge and understanding of the higher education environment.
4. Proven ability to build positive and strong partnerships/relationships externally.
5. Experience in delivering improvements in quality, student/customer experience, and research outputs.
6. Able to be creative and innovative in devising solutions.
