Data Scientist - Global Insurtech

My client is a fast-growing global insurtech company. Their innovative platform integrates data analytics and A.I technologies to seamlessly connect insurers, distributors, and customers. They aim to empower businesses by further enhancing its insurance product offerings, ultra-personalized customer journey, operation processes, and other applications.

The Role:

You are a curious-minded, multi-faceted Data Scientist who develops, implements, and deploys Machine Learning models to provide solutions to any business questions and challenges. This is an exciting position with global exposure as you will be building data solutions for users across APAC, US, and EU regions.

• Analyse Data: Perform advanced analytics and statistical analysis to extract insights from large datasets to inform business strategies.
• Enhance Personalization: Build algorithms to tailor insurance products to individual needs.
• Collaboration: Work directly with cross-functional teams (Business and IT).
• Research: Conduct research on the latest cutting-edge technologies (i.e., GenAI) and how they could be incorporated into business applications.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills, including Python packages such as NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, etc.
• Experience in a cloud environment, either AWS or GCP.
• Solid experience in GenAI and/or MLOps is an advantage.

The Candidate:

• 4+ years of data science/machine engineering working experience.
• Education in mathematics, statistics, data science, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in handling end-to-end data science projects.
• Collaborative and outside-the-box mindset.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
