This is a fixed-term contract role for up to 24 months.

As Data Lead, you will collaborate with the central data team and local D&T team to establish connections with the Data Migration Warehouse and support initial field and value mapping scoping. You will be responsible for conducting initial data assessments leading to cleansing, clearing, and enrichment plans, including impact assessments. With these assessments, you will oversee all data-related activities, ensuring completion in line with the project programme.

In this role, you will:

• Drive value mapping activities in conjunction with functional SMEs, ensuring relevant stakeholders are involved in data assessments and workshops.
• Be responsible for implementing new Data Governance (supported by C&C team).
• Serve as the primary point of contact on data matters for the OpCo, identifying and managing critical data issues and risks, developing recommendations for mitigating actions.
• Collaborate closely with the central data team, regional data hub (where applicable), and local D&T team.
• Oversee data clearing activities in close cooperation with the local Finance team.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in data management within a digital and technology environment, using Master Data Management tools.
• Familiarity with business process management would be beneficial, as well as operational experience with IT systems.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• A team player with collaborative working style and ability to deliver results through others.
• Comfortable working within defined frameworks and following rules to achieve high-quality results.

Estimated Salary: RM 120,000 - RM 180,000 per annum.
