The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure that support our data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with senior data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the efficient flow, transformation, and management of high-quality data. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills, learn industry best practices, and contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
2. Collaborate with team members to analyze data requirements and implement scalable solutions.
3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for data processing workflows.
4. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
5. Support the integration of data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
6. Gain hands-on experience with big data technologies, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services.
7. Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Who you are:

• Undergraduate students from reputable universities in the relevant fields of IT, Computer Science or Engineering.

• Passionate and energetic in information technology functions in the areas of Informatics.

• Fast learner to practice in basic day-to-day work or projects.

• Good communication skills with high proficiency in English.

• Able to network with colleagues from other businesses, IT functions and Management on best work practices.
