Responsibilities:

• Build and Maintain Data Pipelines: Develop, test, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to handle large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Data Integration: Work with multiple data sources and integrate them into centralized systems.
• Data Modelling: Design and implement scalable database schemas (e.g., staging, warehouse, fact, and dimension layers).
• Data Quality & Governance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by implementing data validation and monitoring processes.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with data business intelligence developers and data scientists to meet business needs.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage data platforms in terms of scalability, availability, and security.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation for data pipelines, models, and processes.

Requirements:

• Candidate with at least Bachelor Degree in relevant field or with professional qualification with 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Proficient in SQL and database systems (e.g. MySQL, or MS SQL).
• Hands-on in ETL/ELT Tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (MS Fabric knowledge would be added advantage).
• Data Warehousing: Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
• Data Integration: Experience working with APIs, file-based data ingestion, and streaming platforms.
• Version Control: Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
