What We Need:
We are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Engineer to manage and process financial and operational data for reporting and reconciliation. This role will involve using SQL Server and MySQL as data sources and utilizing Grafana for data visualization to support both financial and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze discrepancies during reconciliation and propose solutions.

Data Reporting and Visualization:

• Design and maintain financial and operational data visualizations using Grafana for clear and actionable insights.
• Generate regular financial reports and operational dashboards to meet business and management needs.

Data Processing and Integration:

• Write and maintain SQL queries to extract and integrate data from SQL Server and MySQL.
• Perform data cleaning and transformation to ensure accuracy and usability for analysis and reporting.

Process Improvement:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data processing and reporting workflows, improving efficiency and automation.
• Provide suggestions for report enhancements to reflect evolving business needs and trends.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

• At least 2 years of experience in a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, with hands-on experience using SQL Server and MySQL.
• Experienced in using Grafana or similar data visualization tools to design and maintain complex reports.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a must, to communicate & collaborate with our team based in Taiwan.
• Knowledgeable in data processing workflows, including data cleaning and transformation.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments and understand business requirements.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and data accuracy.
• Experience in financial and operational data analysis is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) is a plus.
• Experience with Google Analytics is a plus.
• Knowledge of C# or other programming languages is a plus.
