Responsibilities:

1. Design the ETL Pipelines design for each squad
2. Develop & Implement ETL Pipelines
3. Define Data Model & Implement DataWarehouse / Lakehouses
4. Design KPI processing / compute in Olap layer (BI Stack)
5. Define & Implement best of breed Data Analytics & BI Practices
6. Conduct ETL Jobs code reviews
7. Design & Implement Pipelines Job Orchestration
8. Design & Implement Cube processing Jobs
9. Ensure each Squad is adopting CI/CD for Data Products Delivery
10. Maintain the ETL in operational condition
11. Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues
12. Support the qualification of the projects, extraction, transformation and load of the data (Data Scoping / Discovery)
13. Technical Framing: Feasibility study, expression of needs, estimation of the load and timeframe, writing Technical Specifications, ensuring documentation of achievements

Requirements:

1. As a data expert you have a solid technical background and experience in data-intensive systems (> 5 years).
2. Experience in a multinational Company with complex organizational ecosystem. Working in the cloud with micro-services would certainly be a plus. You already have significant experience as a Data Engineer.
3. Experience working with large amounts of data, Big Data processing – batch and streaming Kafka, Flink, dbt, & Talend.
4. Familiar with Data platforms, including Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Tableau, and Looker.
5. Completely comfortable working in a highly sensitive On-Prem data environment, where security constraints are part of the adventure.
6. You have deep knowledge and experience in databases, DataMarts, Data Modelling, Data Governance, Data Security, BI tools, ETL Solutions.
7. You know how to work with data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, architects, product owners, and top management.
8. You have the right mindset: You are autonomous and know where and when to take decisions taking into account the constraints.
9. You are dynamic & curious, with an agile mindset and a strong team spirit that allows you to adapt to a changing environment.
10. You are comfortable writing and speaking in English.
11. You are familiar with CI/CD delivery.
12. You are familiar with incremental delivery practices.
