Responsibilities

• Work with Microsoft Fabric to integrate and manage dataflows, datasets, and transformation processes across its unified data platform, helping build scalable data pipelines.
• Design and implement data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from raw form to a format that is ready for analysis and decision making by following the Medallion architecture.
• Ingest structured and unstructured data sources into Delta Lake.
• Write and execute code using Spark compute engine in various programming languages like Python, PySpark, SQL for data transformation logic for bronze, silver, and gold layers.
• Create semantic models using star and snowflake schemas with facts and dimensions ready for analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Australia and Singapore to deliver high-quality datasets for Power BI reporting.

Requirements for Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and scalable SQL and Python code.
• Experience in CI/CD process and understanding the lifecycle of solution implementation and execution.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong business mindset and ability to grasp business requirements from stakeholders.
• Experience with big data, machine learning, and forecasting is an advantage.
