Data Engineer

An exciting opportunity exists at Ezypay for an experienced Data Engineer to support our Reporting and Data team.

As a Data Engineer you will:

1. Prioritize and implement new feature requirements, enhancements, and data quality fixes to the BI platform.
2. Provide data in the appropriate format, granularity, and accuracy to the platform and end users.
3. Improve current SSIS packages and ETL workflows.
4. Provide dataflows and datasets to PowerBI users.
5. Assist in visualizing data in PowerBI.
6. Create data dictionaries and documentation for all data models and reports.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

1. 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Microsoft SQL Server Information Services development experience.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI.
5. Knowledge and understanding of OLAP methodologies and architecture.
6. Knowledge and passion for agile software development practices.
7. Excellent debugging skills.
