Job Description

1. Under IT Infrastructure and Operation Services Department drives and leverages technology refreshment and best practice service management principles, to provide cost-effective and efficient infrastructure and technical environment, data centre management, and valued end-user services.
2. Maintain high system availability for business services that strictly adhere to operation procedures, monitor system and network performance, and ensure all application systems and infrastructures function properly.
3. Carry out incident management activities to uphold maximum system uptime to support business operations.
4. Perform end of day file maintenance and data backup for all systems.
5. Install or upgrade system software.
6. Plan and implement system and network changes.
7. Prepare operation procedural manual.

Job Requirements

1. University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
2. Around 3 years of work experience in system/network operations or support field on Cisco equipment; Windows, Linux and VMS operating systems.
3. Preferably working experience with Telecom Carriers / System Integrators; with network, system, OS (e.g. Linux), VMware, etc with all-rounded knowledge.
4. Hands-on experience in system/network implementation, server virtualization.
5. Solid understanding of web monitoring and administration technologies with skills in areas of performance optimization, load balancing and security.
6. Knowledge in system, network and database administrations; acquaintance with Club business operations will be an advantage.
7. A sound knowledge of project management and relevant experience will be an advantage.
8. Good organizational and problem solving abilities as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Flexibility to work on a 24/7 shift roster covering Sundays and public holidays as required.
