Responsibilities:

• Gather and manage data from multiple sources, including Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), financial records, and operational databases.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and business standards.
• Maintain structured data repositories for laboratory, finance, and business performance analysis.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze laboratory performance data, including test volumes, turnaround times, and quality control metrics.
• Conduct financial data analysis, including revenue trends, cost analysis, and profitability of laboratory services.
• Provide insights on business growth opportunities, pricing strategies, and cost optimization.
• Develop and automate dashboards, reports, and visualizations for management review.

Financial & Business Intelligence

• Collaborate with the finance team to track revenue streams, expenses, and profitability of different laboratory services.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning through data-driven insights.
• Identify revenue leakage, billing discrepancies, and opportunities for financial efficiency.
• Assist in pricing strategy development based on market trends and cost analysis.

Operational & Strategic Insights

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for laboratory and business operations.
• Provide trend analysis on customer demand, service utilization, and operational bottlenecks.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies through data analysis.
• Support strategic planning with data-driven recommendations for business growth.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations, including ISO standards and financial auditing requirements.
• Identify risks related to data inconsistencies, revenue management, and operational inefficiencies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary data reports.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with laboratory personnel, finance teams, IT specialists, and senior management.
• Communicate data findings and actionable insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Business Analytics, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare, laboratory, or financial setting.
• Strong skills in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), database management (SQL), and programming (Python, R).
• Experience with LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) and financial reporting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Knowledge of financial modelling, revenue analysis, and business performance metrics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
