Job Purpose:

The Data Analyst Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying reports and BI solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies such as Power BI, Azure, Denodo, and MS SQL. This role requires close collaboration with team members to develop new dashboards and maintain existing BI solutions, which may include Microsoft, Visual Studio .NET, and other third-party platforms.

• Support all Business Users' dashboard enhancements.
• Ensure all dashboard requests are properly recorded, and RDDs are developed and validated according to the Data & Platform team process.
• Design and develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Excel, Performance Point, Power BI, SSRS, and third-party tools.
• Schedule and create ad-hoc system reports using Denodo, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server tools.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent fields.
• Required skills: SQL, SSRS, Power BI, and other programming languages and BI tools.
• Minimum of 4 - 7 years of experience working on related projects in a corporate environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting, resolution, and preventive maintenance for assigned projects.
• Develop business intelligence and data solutions using MS SQL Server, Denodo, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, Excel services, PowerPivot, X++, and third-party tools. Development may occur on premises or in the cloud (e.g., Windows Azure) and includes but is not limited to platforms like Microsoft, SharePoint, and Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Work Location: Puchong, Selangor

Remuneration: Up to MYR8,000
