Data Analyst

Job Description: CW to support Transportation Sourcing Managers and overall team. Tasks may include:

1. Compute and update monthly fuel surcharge.
2. Prepare and load freight rates into system of record. Validate loaded freight rates.
3. Extract key information from various data sources and distribute reports.
4. Compile and publish key indicators, spends and other data for benchmarking.

Required Skills:

• Experience in logistics sourcing will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced skills in Excel to perform data analytics. Must be able to combine multiple data sources to source data. Independently execute data queries across multiple data sources in support of business intelligence reporting needs. PowerBi skill will be an added advantage.
• Able to analyze complex data and communicate the resulting insights with clarity. Someone who can tell the story, not just present numbers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to communicate effectively with sourcing managers located globally.
• A Bachelor’s degree in fields of study such as supply chain management, business management, or in any analytics discipline.
• Several years of proven work experience in the supply chain management industry preferred.
• Experience in the transportation industry will be an added advantage.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Note: If required, may need to attend con-call during MYT (night) & mostly virtual but may need to be in office, hybrid.
