Customer Software Verification and Validation Engineer

The Opportunity

Define, execute, and report software and hardware tests to uphold the highest standards. Collaborate with Agile teams to drive innovation, optimize testing, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute test cases based on product updates.
2. Set up test environments for manual and automated testing.
3. Maintain and calibrate test hardware.
4. Conduct manual, automated, and exploratory testing.
5. Identify, document, and escalate issues.
6. Generate test reports ensuring regulatory compliance.
7. Ensure traceability for audit readiness.
8. Collaborate in Agile squads.
9. Conduct peer reviews and optimize test processes.

Skills & Experience

1. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
3. Familiarity with test reporting systems (Power BI, Confluence, Windchill).
4. Basic coding experience (Python or similar).
5. Strong testing knowledge from requirements to reporting.
6. Exposure on test automation (Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework).
7. Hands-on experience with electronic testing measurement equipment.
8. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines).
9. Background in medical devices, microelectronics, or related fields.

We also welcome candidates with less experience who show strong potential and a willingness to learn. These candidates should have:

1. Fundamental knowledge of software testing cycles.
2. Some exposure to test design and execution.
3. Basic experience in maintaining test hardware and optimizing testing for compliance.
4. Ability to design, execute, and report test cases.
