Customer Service Administrator at Fitness Centre (Kuching)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure proper administration of the gym, such as:
  • Sign up or cancel memberships
  • Provide membership sign-up information and explain membership terms
  • Disallow non-members or those with outstanding matters to enter
  • Collect and record all stock and payments
  • Investigate and communicate accordingly if fouls are committed
  • Effectively assists in all member enquiries, complaints and requests
  • Communicate gym updates and membership matters to members using our SMS and e-mail system
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness and tidiness of gym and office environment on a daily basis
  • Inspect to ensure all equipment are functioning and well-maintained
  • Inspect camera recordings to ensure gym rules are respected; take corrective actions if they are not
  • Work within Level Up Fitness’s Standard Operating Procedures
  • Effectively work within the team to escalate any issues to your direct supervisor after attempting to resolve them on your own
  • Contribute towards delivering a great experience to members and guests

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. A cheerful, outward, friendly personality. You will be required to smile a lot!
  2. Working hours depend on outlets, but candidates must be able to work weekday evenings and one weekend.
  3. For reference, Wisma Everrise (Petanak) is staffed Monday to Friday 7am to 9pm; Saturday 1pm - 6pm.
  4. Preferred Languages: Candidates should be able to converse in English. Fluency in either Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu is a plus, as candidates will be interacting with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  5. Computer-literate: Candidate must be adept at using basic functions of Microsoft Excel.
  6. Candidate ideally should possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Sports Science & Management or equivalent.
  7. At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related fields above is ideal for this position, but fresh graduates may be considered.
