Job Description

• Responsible to perform sample handling including sample inspection, sample sorting, sample registration to comply with requirement of ISO 17025.
• Assist reporting manager to ensure smooth and effective daily operation.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy on handling business inquiries as per the expectation of the customers.
• Responsible to handle indoor sales to assist walk-in clients and incoming calls regarding lab testing inquiries and follow up with clients on proposals and sample submissions.
• Responsible to communicate and liaise with clients on sample submission & any sample-related issues to ensure sample integrity.
• Meeting the clients’ expectations in terms of the incoming sample collection and outgoing laboratory reporting.
• Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by upholding good safety behavior and exercising necessary standards and processes when carrying out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance with the HSE requirements.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management.
• Responsible to coordinate with different departments including Laboratory, reporting, business, and any back support functions.
• Responsible to handle subcontracting tasks by managing sample courier and ensuring the traceability of samples.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of a Degree in Science or any related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in documentation and a well-understanding of standard operating procedures; fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Good interpersonal skills and a good track record in the company.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
