Credit Executive

We are looking for Credit Executive at Damansara, Bandar Utama

JOB SCOPE:

• Ensure the implementation of the Credit policy to control financial risks and optimize financial flows.
• Proactively contribute to the implementation of the established Credit policy.
• Perform financial analysis prior to opening a client account.
• Manage block orders in case of unpaid bills, client default, and bad debts.
• Target cash collection and risk management objectives to allocate corresponding means in accordance with the Credit policy.
• Collaborate with Credit Insurance for negotiation and renewal of credit limits, proposing and following alternative solutions as needed.
• Enforce fixed payment deadlines and define the stimulus policy.
• Follow key indicators (budget, real, trends).
• Ensure transparency of suppliers' accounts.
• Address customer credit issues in connection with the Supply Chain Director, Financial Director, Sales Director, and Customer Care Manager, and follow up on action plans.
• Modernize payment methods.
• Ensure timely cash collection through continued monitoring and collaboration with customers.
• Enforce payment terms.
• Follow-up and retrieve customer payments for all invoices, prioritizing based on importance and aging.
• Ensure that customer accounts are in good order, utilizing credit notes and corrections.
• Resolve all situations involving litigations and claims related to deliveries, deductions, commercial deals, and returns.
• Manage blocking and releasing orders with credit issues or risks.
• Maintain constant communication with Credit Manager and Commercial counterparts about customer credit issues and internal requests.
• Escalate actions on overdue accounts.

Special Requirements:

• Minimum LCCI, Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field of study.
• Ideally 2-3 years of working experience in a similar field.
• Meticulous, possess a can-do attitude, and be a fast learner.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage large volume transactions with speed, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Experience with SAP FICO module is an added advantage.
