Job description

Minimum Requirements

  • Preferably from property developer background with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in credit administration, billing & collection, conveyancing, or related fields within the property development industry.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including major Microsoft Windows and having experience using systems is an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English; ability to converse in Mandarin would be an advantage.
  • Familiar with Housing Act and contents of standard Sale & Purchase Agreement of both Schedule H and G, DMC, and other legal terms.
  • Hands-on experience in the entire process of sales administration from preparation of agreements until delivery of vacant possession and transfer of titles for Schedule G & H.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operation of Credit Administration functions, including monitoring loan documentation, progressive billings, and collections in accordance with the Sales and Purchase Agreement until delivery of vacant possession and in compliance with policies related to sub-sale matters, refinancing, and transfer of titles.
  • Attend timely to loan documentation to facilitate the bank loan drawdown.
  • Perform credit administration & credit control functions including generating progress billing, re-notice billing, miscellaneous invoices, official receipts, and redemption repayments timely, ensuring the progressive billings are sent out to the respective purchasers and end-financiers in a timely manner.
  • Generate reminder letters and notices of termination in accordance with the Sale and Purchase Agreement. Monitor & follow up on the outstanding sums.
  • Keep track and follow up on progressive payments with the purchasers, end-financiers, and solicitors timely to avoid any late payments.
  • Perform credit control activities including monitoring of receivable aging, contacting customers for payment commitments, issuing statements of accounts, reminder letters, and other related documents to customers.
  • Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts receivable transactions.
  • Process and update daily bank-in cheques.
  • Monitor and update post-dated cheques.
  • Update AR aging and resolve AR disputes and discrepancies.
