Job description
Credit Control Executive (URGENT HIRING)
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to being responsible for credit administration matters under ALTY Orthopaedic Hospital.
Job Scopes:
To manage a level of accounts to ensure that outstanding debts are collected, service issues resolved and business objectives in terms of collection strategy and customer service are achieved.
To minimize Bad Debts within the assigned account base as specified by the Head of Finance.
To maximize the collection of overdue monies within the assigned account base following the collection procedures currently in force.
Verify documentation and propose recommendations of credit applications.
Review credit worthiness of new customers and propose credit limit based on credit policy.
Review credit and collection history of existing customers and ensure the accounts are within the credit limit, overdue limit, and other parameters set with the Management.
Review and release order on credit hold after verifying from relevant parties and management approval.
Attend to credit inquiries as well as accounts reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with the Group rules and procedures.
Manage and reduce the customer credit risk.
Monitor credit limits and payment terms.
To perform credit control activities and on the collection of outstanding debts.
To ensure the collection is timely.
To manage the implementation of credit policy, processes and internal controls ensure governance over the credit control/ collections functions.
Participate in any process improvement related projects.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
At least 2-4 years of working experience in the related field preferably from the Healthcare industry.
Preferably Executives specializing in Credit Control.
Experience with any Hospital System is an added advantage.
Applicant must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and possess a positive attitude.
Self-motivated, able to learn on the job and work independently under minimum supervision.
Meticulous and able to handle data entries accurately and efficiently.
Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, good business acumen for problem-solving, confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders, excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
