COSTING LEAD - TYSON MALAYSIA

Job Details:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

1. Perform relevant standard/actual costing to determine SKU’s pricing.
2. Implement continuous controls and performance metrics to monitor cost management goals.
3. Perform cost management activities and provide analysis on cost behavioral patterns of business operations.
4. Maintain internal control documentation, provide government and statistic reports, and assist in annual audit and tax reporting.
5. Direct and lead activities of product costing for Product Manufacturing Analysis and Inventory Valuation.
6. Responsible for processing accurate and timely product costing updates (Standard Costing/Actual Costing/Variances) for management review.
7. Perform periodic reviews of the product costing and ensure any changes in material pricing are up to date and maintained in the system.
8. Review and monitor Bill of Material (BOM) costing and maintain a systematic product structure.
9. Responsible for accurate and timely closure of the product costing report (both periodic and ad-hoc) for submission to management for review.
10. Ensure that proper inventory valuation and control are followed by accounting standards.
11. Involve in the inventory cycle count process and posting.
12. Resourceful in looking out for cost-saving opportunities based on studies conducted and the cost pattern of each process.
13. Lead and assist the migration of costing information to an in-house system for future impact such as government policies, inflation, forex, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 10 years of working experience with no less than 5 years in the field of cost management and control.
3. Proficiency in an accounting package, preferably SAP.
4. Competency in using Microsoft Office packages, thorough in Excel.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
