Execute cost control activities for project or department including but not limited to:
Cost Planning
Cost Budgeting
Cost Control & Forecasting
Cost Control Reporting, documentation & Cost Close Out
Focal/resource person for cost control related matters in project/department to:
Provide cost control advice to internal PMT as and when required.
Attend project meetings and discussions.
Manage internal & external stakeholders.
Coordinate effective project control execution by supporting improvement initiatives & training provided.
Requirement
Minimum Degree in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. Quantity Surveying or Science).
Minimum 7 years of working experience in the Oil and Gas related industry with specific function in Project Cost Control, Cost estimation, or Project Control.
Other Project Management areas such as:
Cost Estimation
Procurement/Contract Management
Schedule Management
Risk Management
Complete oil and gas project life cycle (Pre-Dev/FEL, EPCIC, Drilling, FDP formulation etc.).
Received formal training or attended courses related to cost control, project control, project management or data analytics.
Knowledgeable in Total Cost Management Concepts & Terminologies.
Compliance with the company’s Project & Cost Control governance.
Adoption of company’s Cost Control methodology & processes, tools & systems, and best practices for all Cost Control scope including:
Planning & budgeting
Actual cost & VOWD tracking
Forecasting
Cost & variance analysis
Reporting/documentation
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Solid networking and interpersonal skills.
Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data.
Intermediate or advanced skill in Project control software such as:
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft PowerPoint
SAP PS
Primavera P6
Project control systems (e.g. EcoSys, P6 Unifi, SAP PMS or equivalent).
Added advantage for candidates with accreditation/certification from Project Management Institutions such as:
