Assist in preparing project budgets and cost plans in coordination with the planning and project team.
Track actual expenditures against budgets and flag variances.
Monitor and report cost performance indicators (CPI).
Prepare monthly cost reports, including forecasts, cost value reconciliations (CVR), and variance analyses.
Work closely with quantity surveyors and site teams for accurate reporting.
Support in the evaluation of supplier/subcontractor quotations against cost estimates.
Assist in developing cost comparisons and support procurement negotiations.
Record and evaluate variations and changes to the project scope.
Support the preparation of variation orders and claims.
Develop and update project cash flows.
Support in financial forecasting and funding requirements.
Work closely with QS, engineers, and project teams to ensure cost control procedures are followed and provide cost efficiency analysis.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in cost control, preferably in road work and infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with construction contracts, tender processes, and project management practices.
Knowledge of relevant construction regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
