Job Summary:
The Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing and controlling a company’s costs to improve efficiency and profitability. This role involves monitoring production costs, preparing cost reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Cost Accountant works closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Calculate, analyze, and monitor product and operational costs.
2. Maintain cost accounting systems and cost records.
3. Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
4. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
5. Prepare cost reports and provide insights for management decisions.
6. Support internal audits and compliance with financial regulations.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure cost efficiency.

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in cost accounting or related roles.
3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial analysis.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
