Your new role
They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Finance Manager to join their team. This role will focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), playing a critical part in their strategic growth initiatives.
M&A Strategy & Deal Execution
- Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities in alignment with corporate growth objectives.
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to assess potential acquisition and investment targets.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop strategic investment plans.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to assess valuation, synergies, and deal structuring.
- Conduct financial due diligence, including revenue forecasting, cost analysis, and risk assessment.
- Prepare investment memos, business case presentations, and financial reports for senior management.
Stakeholder & Transaction Management
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, investment banks, legal advisors, and external consultants.
- Lead negotiations and structuring of term sheets, shareholder agreements, and deal contracts.
- Manage end-to-end deal execution, from initial screening to post-merger integration.
- Assess regulatory, financial, and operational risks related to potential acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, legal, and financial regulations.
- Monitor post-acquisition performance and identify areas for value creation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. ACCA, CPA, or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or M&A.
- Must have Big 4/ Big 10 Background previously or currently.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make data-driven investment decisions.
- Flexible, open to travelling to KL, Johor.
- Proactive character.
