Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities (land, buildings, data center operators) to drive strategic business growth.
Proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition targets, ensuring alignment with long-term company objectives.
Conduct comprehensive due diligence on acquisition targets, collaborating with external advisors to assess financial, operational, and legal risks.
Partner with external consultants to perform feasibility studies on potential data center sites, evaluating technical and economic viability.
Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel to draft and review non-binding and binding transaction documents, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
Develop and maintain financial models to accurately value acquisition targets, assess investment returns (ROI, IRR), and analyze financial performance. Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate potential risks and opportunities.
Prepare clear and concise internal updates, presentations, and investment approval papers for senior management, effectively communicating key findings and recommendations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), investments, real estate, data center operations, or other relevant field.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong financial modeling skills (demonstrated ability to build and interpret complex models).
Strong numerical, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive and self-motivated, with strong work ethics.
