About the company:

Job Responsibilities:
The role will deliver and perform high-value internal and external communication across the country which includes supporting the Country President/Country General Manager to define and implement the internal and external communication strategy and support Human Resource/Employer Branding to drive a culture of dialogue, reinforce people engagement and promote the company's employer value proposition. Additionally, it includes supporting the Country Global Marketing team to deploy and drive a comprehensive Integrated Marketing Plan (PR, Media Events, Governmental Relationship, Social Media etc) to drive brand awareness, thought leadership and share of voice.

Internal Communications:

  1. Align with the Global and Regional Internal Communication team to define and roll out Country internal communication strategy and plan.
  2. Leverage on company’s communication tools (Spice+ employee portal, Yammer, MS Teams, Webex etc) to drive appropriate communication plan and actions efficiently.
  3. Design and implement the Country President/Country General Manager's communication towards employees in scope.
  4. Design and manage country leadership and employee events (e.g. Townhall, Comms Session) to drive the country priorities and people engagement.
  5. Design and implement, in special cases, the crisis communication plan, aligned with the corporate process and guidelines.
  6. Support country HR initiatives/programs relating to drive a culture of dialogue, reinforce people engagement, and promote the company's employer value proposition.

External Communications:

  1. Manage corporate level external communications plan across all channels including reputation management, thought leadership, media relations, content creation, and social media.
  2. Support and partner business units as communications expert to support sales campaigns, hero offers, and product launches.
  3. Maintain (and grow where appropriate) media share of voice for SE in country.
  4. Drive plans to meet c-suite and tier one media engagement targets.
  5. Manage third party communications resources including PR and social media agencies, media and content partnerships etc.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines. At least 3 years of experience in PR, Mass Communications or Marketing. Marketing, Communications, or Business Development with a flair for writing and good command of English and Malay. Driven by Customer Centricity. Digital savvy, creative, energetic and passionate about communications and people engagement. Strong business acumen and knowledge of marketing funnel. Hands-on experience in handling both above-the-line and below-the-line marcom tactics including advertisement, event management, direct marketing, public relations, social media marketing and digital marketing. Ability to influence & convince, and foster collaboration in a matrix and dynamic environment. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
