Primary Role: Support the origination and execution of corporate finance advisory mandates which shall encompass formulating and undertaking business development and origination functions and coordinating inter-departmental liaisons to identify opportunities through business relationships with existing and new clientele base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong in origination with good corporate finance experience.
• Work independently with business partners, especially in deal origination.
• Structure and execute complex corporate finance transactions.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian regulatory and execution process.
• Focus areas include local and cross-border M&A, privatisation exercises, Malaysian and cross-border IPO exercises in Singapore and Hong Kong, and equity fundraising exercises.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Capital Market Services Representatives Licence issued by Securities Commission, Malaysia.
• Possess a good university degree or Masters, preferably in accounting, finance, or business. Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance/investment banking or relevant corporate experience.
• Experienced in originating deals successfully executed, whether for private or public entities.
• Familiar with various methodologies on valuation, including DCF.
• Able to undertake company financial analysis with some guidance from seniors.
• Able to manage corporate finance deals independently with some guidance from seniors.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and extended hours when required.
• Possess a good networking base and strong interpersonal/presentation skills.
• Passionate about deal-making and driven to excel.
• Must be a good team player and able to maintain good working relationships with people at all levels.
• Ability to converse/write in Mandarin is an added advantage.
