Responsibilities

Make an impact:

• Preparing the submission of monthly financial statements, quarterly forecast, yearly budget, tax report and other financial reports as published in the Corporate Financial News by Group Controlling.
• Responsible for preparing the financial data for audits and tax purpose, assess accuracy, completeness, conformance and compliance with corporate guidelines and respective countries accounting regulations and tax authorities.
• Prepare and complete timely periodical accounts closing that include reconciliation of financial reports and to ensure accuracy and maintenance of all financial records.
• Preparation of the company’s financial accounting to ensure compliance with local accounting standards and international accounting standards.
• Compile month end cash flow data and prepare cash flows forecast for next 12 months and upload onto Corporate Treasury system.
• Monitor and manage foreign currencies hedging contracts with Corporate Treasury and banks in respective countries.
• Compile and submit periodic tax returns (e.g. SST/GST/VAT, withholding tax) - ensure compliance with tax regulations in respective countries.
• Prepare the final accounts and corporation tax matter.
• Be the main contact for financial audits, tax compliance audit.
• Create and maintain supplier master data in accounting software as needed.

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed:

• Background in Accounting or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA).
• At least 3-4 years working experience in similar capacity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly MS Excel) and SAP Accounting Software.
• Possess good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Analytical and meticulous with great attention in details.
• Good time management and able to perform multi-tasking in meeting deadlines.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Possess knowledge of International Financial Accounting Standards, Malaysia and other Southeast Asia countries accounting standards, taxation regulations and other relevant business regulations.
