Job description

About the Role:

You will provide financial, transactional and administrative services to ensure accurate delivery of accounts receivable activities across the Global Association. Resolve service requests and other customer enquiries, prepare analysis and reports for decision-making, and support internal and external audit requests. You will report to the Manager - Accounts Receivable. You will work on a hybrid basis from our offices in Petaling Jaya.

You will:

  1. Process invoices, receipts and cash applications.
  2. Research and submit invoice, credit and refund requests.
  3. Resolve AR inquiries and service requests from business and customers, including items in team inboxes.
  4. Process credit and debit memos and refunds coming through workflows.
  5. Contact customers and business owners to resolve aged invoices and collect payments.
  6. Perform month end close activities and reporting.
  7. Perform monthly reconciliations and take appropriate action to investigate and resolve variances.
  8. Perform provision for doubtful debts for selected regions on a monthly basis.
  9. Assist to perform analysis on overall receivables financials for reporting.
  10. Communicate with business owners regarding transaction progress, cut-off times and eminent issues.
  11. Address receivables disputes and issues, including customer outreach, to ensure resolution and collection.
  12. Clarify, validate and process requests or forward requests to appropriate teams for handling.
  13. Perform all processes ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Goals are met.
  14. Support internal and external audit requests.
  15. Collaborate with multiple teams to improve processes and coordinate metrics and goals.
  16. Identify process improvement opportunities and provide suggestions and techniques to improve workflow, efficiency and corresponding processes.

You Have:

  • Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field.
