Job Description:

CONVEYANCING LAWYER (PJ/KUANTAN):

1. Able to draft Sub-sale Sale and Purchase Agreement independently and handle the file from beginning until handover VP / Legal Possession.
2. Familiar with banking documentations.
3. Expected to liaise with clients (including banks) and government authorities i.e. Registrar of Titles, Stamp Office, LHDN etc.
4. Prepare legal opinion and legal advice on all aspects of sale and purchase transaction and loan drawdown.
5. Draft correspondences, legal instruments or documents to developers, banks, third parties.
6. Address residential and commercial projects’ legal issues.
7. Handle and attend to signings of Sale and Purchase Agreement and Loan Documentation.
8. Do thorough legal research.

CHAMBERING STUDENT (PJ/KL):

1. Assist Master and Lawyers on corporate and conveyancing matters.
2. To assist the partners and legal associates in various areas of practice.
3. To conduct research on points of law and to draft legal documents.

Qualifications and Requirements:

CONVEYANCING LAWYER (PJ/KUANTAN):

1. Degree holder of LLB.
2. Able to Handle SPA and loan files for Sub-sales.
3. Dedicated and responsible towards his / her job.
4. Fluent in written and spoken Malay, English languages.
5. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
6. Able to meet deadlines.
7. Good interpersonal skills with positive working attitude.
8. Computer literate with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and possess own transport.
9. Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
10. At least with 3 years and above portfolio in conveyancing.

CHAMBERING STUDENT (PJ/KL):

1. Qualified under Legal Profession Act to commence their Pupillage.
2. Multi-tasked and committed to learn.
3. Strong work ethics and positive working attitude.
4. Legal research and prepare simple writs.
