Handle property transactions, ensuring all processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Prepare, review, and manage Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPA) and loan documentation.
Liaise with clients to provide legal advice and ensure they understand the conveyancing process.
Communicate with financial institutions, developers, and government authorities to facilitate transactions.
Ensure the timely and smooth completion of all conveyancing matters.
Conduct legal research related to conveyancing matters.
Manage and update files systematically to ensure proper documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and a member of the Malaysian Bar.
At least 1-3 years of experience in conveyancing.
Strong understanding of conveyancing procedures, land law, and related regulations in Malaysia.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and third parties.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
Job Description:
Assist with the drafting and preparation of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, letters and other legal forms related to the conveyancing process.
Liaise with clients and other parties involved in the transaction, including real estate agents, banks and other solicitors, to ensure that all legal requirements are met.
Liaise with governmental authorities, including land offices.
Conduct property searches and other research as required.
Assist with the management of files including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
Attend to general administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones and responding to emails.
Ensure that all work is completed within required timelines and to a high standard.
Additional Requirements:
Prior minimum 3 years of experience in conveyancing.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, proactive, efficient and diligent.
Responsible and passionate about work.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
