Job Description:

1. Conveyancing Lawyer

Job Scope:

  1. To handle, prepare and assist subsale SPA, Loan, Perfection, Discharge and all other conveyancing related matters.
  2. To liaise with clients, bankers, and lawyers.
  3. Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
  4. Able to manage time well and meet deadlines.
  5. Able to monitor and follow up closely with all the files, attend to client correspondences and prepare status reports.
  6. Able to assist in administrative work.

2. Litigation Lawyer

Job Scope:

  1. To attend to all litigation matters and to attend court for case management, hearing, trial, or for other related purposes.
  2. To assist Partner in trials, hearings, appeals, and other related work.
  3. To draft cause papers, pleadings, and submissions competently and with minimal supervision.
  4. To prepare legal opinions and conduct research on all legal and related matters.
  5. To attend meetings with clients and liaise with clients.
  6. To work hand in hand with Partners on matters assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Conveyancing Lawyer:

  1. At least two (2) years of working experience in handling conveyancing related matters from initial stage until completion.
  2. Able to handle and/or manage various general conveyancing matters.
  3. Good interpersonal skills with a positive working attitude.
  4. Having experience in handling auction cases will be an added advantage.
  5. Able to commence work as soon as possible or with short notice will be an added advantage.

Litigation Lawyer:

  1. Candidates must possess Bachelor of Laws, LL.B.(Hons.) and valid Practicing Certificate (if possible).
  2. Preferably minimum two (2) years of experience in civil litigation.
  3. Strong legal research skills.
  4. Able to work independently and as a team.
  5. Hardworking, responsible, and committed to work.
  6. Willing to learn and able to complete tasks within timelines.
  7. Able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  8. Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude.
  9. Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
